Working with Asahi Europe & International is not just another project for us. It means operating in an environment where data runs at scale and every decision can impact thousands of people across multiple countries. Asahi Europe & International is a brewing group operating in more than ten countries, including the United Kingdom, Hungary, Poland, the Netherlands, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, while also covering the United States and, more recently, several breweries in Africa. In the Czech market, most people associate Asahi mainly with brands like Pilsner Urquell, Kozel, and Radegast.
What is the goal of our collaboration?
Our collaboration focuses on one key area: Power BI governance. We help Asahi better manage a large-scale Power BI platform used by up to 4,000 users across multiple countries every month. This is no longer an environment that can be maintained long term without clear rules. As the platform grows, performance, clarity, and cost control start to decline without proper governance.
What exactly are we addressing?
We are gradually introducing processes that help manage the platform in a systematic way.
We focus mainly on these areas:
🔹 optimization of costs for dedicated capacities,
🔹 processes for regular platform maintenance,
🔹 oversight of development teams and adherence to standards,
🔹 reducing unnecessary load on the infrastructure,
🔹 data security and prevention of leaks.
This is not a one-time fix. It is about setting rules that will continue to work as the platform grows.
What impact will this have on users?
The project for Asahi Europe & International is interesting because we are addressing the entire Power BI ecosystem. We are introducing proven principles, setting up long-term processes, and tracking their real impact on the platform’s stability and performance. We value the trust the client has placed in us in this area.
What will this bring to the business?
For Asahi, this project brings clear potential value. 👉 Power BI platform costs stay under control. The platform becomes more stable and better prepared for future growth. Data security is more tightly managed. And the entire environment can evolve without starting to break under its own weight.
The main added value should be:
🔹 sustainable costs in the long term,
🔹 more stable platform performance,
🔹 safer data handling,
🔹 better Power BI adoption through training.
Why is this project important?
This is not about implementing a new tool. Power BI is already in place at Asahi and plays a critical role in day-to-day decision-making.
Our task is to give this platform a structure that will last. To set rules that align dozens of teams across countries. To keep performance, security, and costs under control.
This is exactly the kind of work where you can see the real impact of a data strategy on the business.
We will help you set up Power BI governance so it is sustainable, efficient, and free of unnecessary costs.
