The collaboration with THERMACUT, k.s. involved launching a data warehouse and related reporting. The newly visualized reports will ensure better clarity of company data and facilitate the creation of custom reports.

For THERMACUT, k.s., we became a partner with the goal of creating a data warehouse and a set of three reports that would provide the IT department with guidance on efficient data handling and report creation. Leveraging the existing state of company data accelerated the project, and the first versions of the reports were completed within a few months. At the same time, we introduced a standardized appearance for the reports with visualizations.
The new approach to data enabled precise calculations at a much more detailed level than was previously possible. This allowed us to analyze defect rates at the level of specific manufacturing operations, significantly expanding the possibilities for analysis and subsequent process improvement.
The next step in our data collaboration continued with the development of a pricing application. This application uses data from the data warehouse, enabling quick and efficient adjustments to product, product line, or entire portfolio prices. Pricing rules at THERMACUT, k.s. are grouped according to product lines and pricing policies, and the application allows flexible application of these rules. At the same time, the application ensures that profitability and price changes meet the company’s internal conditions.
