1) Scope
This Privacy Policy applies only to Power BI custom visuals published by intecs data, s.r.o. (the “Visual”). It does not apply to Microsoft Power BI (Desktop, Service, Mobile) or other Microsoft products and services, which are governed by Microsoft’s own terms.
2) Data the Visual receives
The Visual may receive data that the report author/model provides to it through the Power BI platform (for example: values, categories, measures, and formatting settings) solely to render the visualization inside Power BI.
3) Data collection & tracking
The Visual does not collect data about users or devices.
In particular, the Visual does not:
- collect, store, or transmit personal data
- use telemetry, analytics, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting
- identify users or create user profiles
- access information outside what Power BI provides to the Visual for rendering
4) Data transfers (network / internet)
No data is sent to intecs data, s.r.o. or any third party.
- The Visual does not transmit report data or personal data externally.
- The Visual does not require external services to function.
- The Visual does not make outbound network requests (for example via HTTP/S calls).
If you are using Microsoft’s certification program, note that certified visuals are tested against requirements designed to ensure they do not access external services or resources.
5) Data storage
The Visual does not persistently store any data.
- No report data is written to disk by the Visual.
- No personal data is stored by the Visual.
- Any processing occurs within the Power BI host environment (e.g., in-memory while rendering).
7) Sharing with third parties
Because the Visual does not collect or transmit data, we do not share any Visual data with third parties.
8) Security
We develop our Visuals to operate within the Power BI custom visual sandbox and follow secure development practices appropriate for Power BI custom visuals.
9) Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will publish the updated version on this page and update the effective date above.
